Most of you have not kept up with your training. You can lie to yourself—but professionally, you can’t lie to me. That’s not personal; it’s factual.
Do not register for this class if you have not been actively practicing. If you show up to the range without basic proficiency in firearm handling, you will fail. I take safety and skill seriously, and I will not pass anyone who puts others at risk or disrespects the discipline required for firearms training.
If you know you’re rusty or unsure, I strongly encourage you to contact me before class for retraining or a skill refresher. I am available to help—but not during testing.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Concealed carry license about to expire? Renew your license here. 430 ILCS 66, the Illinois Concealed Carry Act, requires that you go through a 3-hr renewal concealed carry class. Get that requalification HERE! Class fee includes Hearing/Eye Protection and Targets (Threats). Students will pay for their own gun range fee of $29 at the gun range location. Students will provide their own firearm and ammunition. An additional fee ($30) will be required to use our firearm and ammunition, if needed.
CLASS LOCATION: Class is primarily located at Security Training Concepts - 8533 S. Pulaski Rd., Unit B, Chicago, IL 60652. We will be meeting here first. Do not go to the range first.
RANGE LOCATION: Unless specifically stated directly from Security Training Concepts, range will be held at Eagle Sports Range - 5900 W. 159th St, Oak Forest, IL
Our Military Veteran / Law Enforcement Instructors and Curriculum are certified by the Illinois State Police. But, don't take our word. Check the Illinois State Police website below to verify our credentials below. When page opens up, locate the entry column, "Last or Business Name", enter "Security Training Concepts". See? Illinois Concealed Carry License Renewal Class ONLY - 3 Hours
