Be advised: If you’re looking for a cupcake, comfort-zone, feelings-centered gun class, this is not the place for you. Please—do not enroll. In fact, if you need to be coddled, guns are not for you. We are not like the instructors who take your money, show you some slides, and send you on your way without ever telling you the reality of gun ownership, responsibility, and survival. Those instructors—nor I—will be with you in a gunfight. You will. Here, you will be trained to survive, not to feel good. Here, you will be challenged, you will be educated, and you will gain knowledge most people never receive. What you learn in this class is unmatched. What you walk away with is life-changing. More than once, students tell us they feel like they underpaid for the level of instruction they received. And honestly? They’re right. This will be some of the best money you ever invest in your initial firearms training.
Teaching Methodology: When I stand in front of a classroom, I’m not just teaching how to shoot a gun. I am untraining years of shame, silence, trauma, fear, ego, mistrust, and nervous systems in students that learned to either fight or shut down. I create safe wrongness: a space where you can try, fail, speak, guess, argue, curse, and still be worthy of learning. Some people think I train civilians like they’re entering law enforcement or the military. I do. Here is why. Most of the people I teach live in neighborhoods where the likelihood of needing a firearm isn’t theoretical — it’s daily life. The people who criticize that reality often live in places where their gun is a hobby, a political symbol, or a weekend accessory. Where I teach, the gun is a lifeline. So if you ever wonder why I teach the way I do or someone has told you about the way I teach, the answer is simple: Because everybody who leaves my class deserves to go home alive. If just one person reads this and understands—that’s good for me. This place is right for you.
